Photo Vogue Festival 2017
From 16 to 19 november will take place in Milan, the second edition of Photo Vogue Festival, international festival devoted to fashion photography, that will involve the whole city of Milan with talks, exhibitions and photographic events, in collaboration with cultural institutions, photographic schools and galleries that will present projects and exhibitions during the days of the festival.
Photo Vogue Festival, headed by Senior Photo Editor, Alessia Glaviano, will feature a monographic exhibition by Paolo Roversi to be held within the prestigious location of Palazzo Reale, promoted and produced by Vogue Italia in partnership with Comune di Milano – Cultura and Palazzo Reale. In addition, the industrial converted space of BASE Milano will host two group exhibitions: Fashion & Politics in Vogue Italia, which explores the way through which – despite attracting criticism and controversies – Vogue Italia addressed current social issues through fashion photography, and PhotoVogue/Visions, an exhibition dedicated to those photographers selected through the scouting initiative launched today on our PhotoVogue platform open to all photographic genres, – from still life to documentary, from fashion to architecture.
Among the many events within the festival program, the portfolio review of saturday 18 november, from 11am to 1pm, at BASE Milano, where young photographers, selected by Vogue Italia, will have the chance to show their newest research to a group of international professionists.
