Banff Centre | Residency Spring 2019

Banff Artist in Residence (BAiR) is a program promoted by the Banff Center for Arts and Creativity of Alberta (CA), dedicated to visual artists, who are offered the opportunity to concentrate and deepen their practice in a dedicated and stimulating environment. Participants have at their disposal a study, accessible 24 hours a day, and guaranteed access to the extensive facilities of the center.

Participants are encouraged to explore new ideas, create, direct their own research and available time, looking for new directions for their work – all surrounded by a large artistic community within the Banff Center mountain scenery.

The artists, singly or in groups, are invited to participate, with at least one show or a publication behind them, who have completed a formal training cycle in the second level visual arts, or an equivalent experience.
