Francesco Fabbri Prize for Contemporary Art / Francesco Fabbri Foundation

The application for the sixth edition of Francesco Fabbri Prize for Contemporary Arts is now online. The Prize is divided into two sections: Emerging Art and Contemporary Photography.

The first is dedicated to under 35 authors who can participate with every visual creative form: from painting to installation, from photography to video art, from performance and sound art to drawing and graphics. The second section, however, without any personal limits, is dedicated to contemporary photography through a variety of conceptions of the specific medium.

The announcement will be open from May 21st to September 3rd 2018 and the winners will receive a purchase prize of 5,000 euros each, the works will enter the permanent collection of the Francesco Fabbri Foundation. Authors from every country in the world can participate in both sections.
The jury will also award special mentions to the critics, to highlight some particularly valuable works and to promote their visibility in the sector press. In addition, among the finalists of the Award, the association in Treviso during 2019.

The award, curated by Carlo Sala, enjoys a prestigious jury composed of critics and curators, such as Matteo Balduzzi, Lorenzo Balbi, Lucrezia Calabrò Visconti, Stefano Coletto, Daniele De Luigi, Vincenzo Estremo, Stefano Raimondi, Francesco Zanot.

The finalist works will be exhibited at Villa Brandolini in Pieve di Soligo (TV) from 24 November to 16 December 2018.
