From January 28 to April 6, 2026, the Museo Fortuny in Venice hosts the exhibition Antonio Scaccabarozzi. Diafanés, presented by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia in collaboration with Galleria Clivio and the Archivio Antonio Scaccabarozzi.
Curated by Ilaria Bignotti and Camilla Remondina, the exhibition establishes a dialogue between the figure of Mariano Fortuny and his cultural legacy, and the artistic research of Antonio Scaccabarozzi. The artist’s works, characterized by translucent surfaces and a profound attention to materiality, engage with the architecture of the palace and its collections, activating a sensitive and perceptual relationship with the space.
As suggested by the exhibition’s title, light is the protagonist of the exhibition, explored in its ability to pass through matter and transform perception.
