At the Fondazione Pasquinelli in Milan, the public can visit the exhibition Cancellatura e Creazione until January 29, 2026. The show is dedicated to Emilio Isgrò, a central figure internationally recognized in the Italian contemporary art scene. In Isgrò’s work, erasure is not a destructive act but a powerful expressive and creative tool, capable of generating new meanings and reinterpretations of text and image. The exhibition traces the various stages of his artistic research, from his early experiments with erasures and visual poetry to his most recent works, offering visitors the opportunity to reflect deeply on the relationship between language, memory, and cultural identity. As part of the exhibition program, a special event with the artist is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, at 6:30 PM—an exceptional opportunity to hear directly from him and gain insight into the themes at the heart of his artistic practice.
