Until March 29, 2026, visitors can explore the exhibition CTRL+Z by Matteo Costanzo at Palazzo Buonaccorsi in Macerata. The artist is the winner of the 7th edition of the Pannaggi/New Generation Award 2025, an initiative conceived and promoted by the Associazione Amici di Palazzo Buonaccorsi with the aim of supporting and promoting emerging artists from the Marche region by offering them a space for visibility and dialogue.
Curated by Paola Ballesi, Costanzo’s solo exhibition presents an articulated exhibition path featuring collages, sticker paintings, video works, and installations. Through these heterogeneous languages, the artist investigates the role of images in contemporary society, focusing on the mechanisms of production, circulation, and manipulation of visual content. Information—constantly fragmented, layered, and recomposed—becomes the living material of the work, reflecting on the speed with which it is absorbed, reinterpreted, and often emptied of meaning within the continuous flow of digital communication.
