Casa Masaccio – Centre for Contemporary Art hosts, until March 15, 2026, the exhibition From What We Are by Agnes Waruguru, an interdisciplinary artist whose research deeply intertwines autobiographical elements, cultural identity, and collective memory.
The exhibition project, curated by Alessandro Romanini, is conceived as a dialogue between the artist and the local context, connecting her practice with the place that hosts it. The show presents both works that represent her artistic journey and poetics, as well as a series of ceramic pieces created specifically in Tuscany, the result of a collaboration with local artisans and workshops.
In this way, an exchange between tradition and contemporary experimentation is established, reinforcing the connection between the artist’s research and the cultural heritage of the territory.
