Future(s) Forward. Envisioning the Future of AI between Utopia and Dystopia is a new open call launched by Eurac Research in collaboration with Museion in Bolzano. The initiative emerges from the intersection of art and science and invites artists to reflect on the role of artificial intelligence in the contemporary world.
The call is open to students and recent graduates from the European Union who wish to submit a work exploring the increasingly pervasive impact of AI on everyday life. Its aim is to encourage critical reflection on how this technology can be integrated and employed to envision a future in which innovation coexists thoughtfully with social and ethical concerns.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to take part in the Futurological Congress, scheduled for May 2027, an event dedicated to exploring the themes addressed by the call.
