GARDEN OF ENTANGLEMENT, HiEn Hoàng | FOAM, AMSTERDAM

“Garden of Entanglement” is the solo exhibition by Hiền Hoàng, winner of the 18th edition of the Foam Paul Huf Award, a prestigious international prize awarded annually to emerging talents in contemporary photography. The exhibition will be on view until 10 September 2025.
The previous edition featured the participation of curators, photography directors, writers, and founders from around the world, including the former year’s award winner.
Hoàng’s artistic practice is defined by a drive to push beyond the boundaries of perception through hybrid visual languages and immersive experiences. Her work fluidly combines photography, sculpture, video, installation, and performance within a coherent and experimental aesthetic. At the core of her practice lies the theme of migration, explored as both a conceptual and personal foundation—an element that is also central to the work presented in this exhibition.
