The collaboration between 079 Stories gallery in Ahmedabad, India, and Casa degli Artisti in Milan takes shape in a project that, between August and December, connects the two institutions through a program of residencies and exhibitions.
The first chapter opens on August 23 until September 8, when 079 Stories presents the solo exhibition of Roberto Rup Paolini, entitled “Jyot (ज्योति) – Divine Light”. In this series, the artist explores the theme of Fire, interpreted not only as a natural element but also as a means of knowledge and purification. Through paintings, charcoals, photomontages, and installations, Paolini invites viewers on a journey of introspection and philosophical reflection.
Beginning on October 21, 2025, Casa degli Artisti will host the second part of the project: the residency of Vipul Prajapati, who will present his work “Traces of Milan”.
Both events are curated by Caterina Corni and Giulia Restifo.
