PREMIO LUIGI GHIRRI 2026, OPEN CALL | GIOVANE FOTOGRAFIA ITALIANA

The call for entries for the 2026 edition of Giovane Fotografia Italiana – Premio Luigi Ghirri, curated by Ilaria Campioli and Daniele De Luigi, is open until January 7, 2026. Participation is free and open to artists and collectives under 35: Italian citizens, including those living abroad, as well as foreign residents in Italy. Applicants are invited to submit a photographic project inspired by this year’s theme, Voices.
The initiative aims to discover and support emerging talents. A jury will select seven finalists, who will receive funding to produce their projects. The completed works will then be presented in a group exhibition at Palazzo dei Musei in Reggio Emilia, as part of the Fotografia Europea 2026 festival.
The winner will be awarded the Premio Luigi Ghirri, worth €4,000, along with significant opportunities for collaboration within the photography world.
