TALES, OPEN CALL | MARES ART RESIDENCY

The open call for the artist residency promoted by MARES, curated by Tatiana Palenzona and Amina Berdin, is open until January 11, 2026. It is aimed at emerging artists working in visual and performing arts, video, and digital art.
Four artists will be selected — two Italian and two international — to take part in a residency at the Complesso Monumentale di Santa Croce in Bosco Marengo (AL). During the residency, participants will have the opportunity to work in a space of great historical and cultural value, develop their artistic projects, and present their outcomes in the final exhibition, scheduled for September 2026.
For this second edition, MARES has proposed TALES as the research theme, inviting artists to engage with the territory and explore its stories, memories, and narratives, investigating the relationship between artistic practice, context, and community.
