The Three Points of View exhibition, hosted at Casa Morassi in Borgo Castello district of Gorizia, is open to visitors until January 18. The show brings together three contemporary photographers — American Steve McCurry, Italian Alex Macoli, and Slovenian Meta Krese — whose works explore the social and territorial dynamics that define the border area between Gorizia and Nova Gorica, a place rich in shared history between Italy and Slovenia.
The artists’ different backgrounds offer three original and complementary perspectives on the identity and culture of the region. Curated by CRAF – the Center for Research and Archiving of Photography, the exhibition is part of the programme of events celebrating the European Capital of Culture, a title awarded to both cities.
