The Sala Piana of the Malatesta Library of Cesena hosts the exhibition “tOUR” by Olivo Barbieri the exhibition space will be available to the public until 28 September after purchase of entrance tickets.
The exhibition develops as a visual and neural journey through different eras and languages comparing the archive of a contemporary photographer with an ancient library, in order to compare the views of two different eras, that of Barbieri of contemporary view and the historical views that together with the architectures contained in the texts contribute to the light a precious documentary heritage kept at the Malatestiana.
The exhibition aims to give meaning back to the image, to the cultural foundations of the imaginary and on the value of a critical look able to reveal an unexplored potential.
