transmediale is an annual festival and a platform for critical reflection on cultural transformations from a post-digital perspective. The open call is aimed at one or more curators to develop the concept and programme for the 2028 edition of the festival, focusing on the intersection of art, technology, science, society, and politics.
Solid curatorial experience is required, with at least five years of experience in developing cultural programmes and a strong focus on critical research and experimental approaches. The position is freelance and runs from December 2026 to March 2028, with relocation to Berlin required from October/November 2027.
