The Design Museum in London presents a major exhibition dedicated to Wes Anderson, conceived as a comprehensive archive of the filmmaker’s body of work. The exhibition is curated by Lucia Savi and Johanna Agerman Ross.
Tracing Anderson’s entire career, the exhibition highlights both his experimental approach and the meticulous design process behind each of his films. Among the objects on display are original storyboards, preparatory sketches, paintings, miniature models, costumes, and the original puppets used in his stop-motion animated films, offering visitors a unique insight into the creative process that shaped his unmistakable visual universe. The exhibition is further enriched by screenings of a selection of Anderson’s short films.
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue, edited by Johanna Agerman Ross, Matthieu Orléan, and Lucia Savi, celebrating the director’s creative universe through photographs, drawings, paintings, and an exclusive interview with Wes Anderson himself.
