Zero 10 is Art Basel’s initiative dedicated to digital art, curated by Trevor Paglen and Eli Scheinman, and will take place alongside Art Basel’s annual fair. The project brings together exhibitors and artists working within the field of digital practices. Zero 10 serves as Art Basel’s platform for digital art culture, highlighting its growing significance and influence over the years.
The initiative is guided by the theme The Condition, a reflection on the contemporary landscape, saturated with images and increasingly shaped by the artificial intelligence systems that generate them. In the work of Andreas Gysin, among the selected artists, programming code and the computational processes of algorithmic systems are employed as a genuine visual language.
The program is further enriched by a series of conversations designed to encourage dialogue and critical reflection on contemporary digital narratives.
