The Rencontres d\u2019Arles is having a \u20ac20,000 curatorial research fellowship open to all the exhibition curators.
\nThe chosen project will unfold in two parts: the proper\u00a0research and\u00a0an exhibition,\u00a0supervised by the Rencontres d\u2019Arles, based on the results.<\/p>\n

The \u20ac20,000 grant includes:
\n– \u20ac5,000 for research expense and fee.
\n– \u20ac15,000 to produce the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The Rencontres d\u2019Arles curatorial research fellowship is intended for curators wishing to produce an unprecedented exhibition project with a relationship to images\/photography.<\/p>\n

The application must be filed online here<\/a><\/span>, and must include:
\n– a biography of the curator(s) (maximum 500 keystrokes), complete with training, research and contact details, and a portfolio (pdf) of various projects the curator has carried out.
\n– a written presentation of the exhibition project proposed for the fellowship (maximum 5 000 keystrokes, word or pdf), a body of works and a list of the artists envisaged for the project (visuals are strongly recommended, word or pdf), an estimated research budget (\u20ac5,000), a research timetable and an estimated exhibition production budget (\u20ac15,000 – within the limits of the earmarked amount). The texts must be in French or English, ideally both.<\/p>\n
