ANIMATI. GOD, HUMAN, ANIMAL, MACHINE | MUSEO DI FOTOGRAFIA CONTEMPORANEA, CINISELLO BALSAMO, MILANO
Opening tomorrow, Saturday, May 17, is the exhibition “ANIMATI. God, Human, Animal, Machine”, curated by Chiara Bardelli Nonino, at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Cinisello Balsamo.
The works on display come from the museum’s collection and include pieces by both Italian and international artists: from Gabriele Basilico and Lisetta Carmi to Mimmo and Francesco Jodice, and from Günter Brus to Bernard Plossu.
The exhibition emerges from the synergy between art and artificial intelligence, which was employed during the curatorial process to explore the photographic archive and select works that reflect on the role of human nature in the digital age.
